Mixed reality gaming has become a hallmark of Meta Quest 3 & 3S. Rather than immersing players in fully virtual worlds, MR games employ your own physical surroundings. In 2025, there are a multitude of titles utilising the technology, but which ones should you buy? Here are the best mixed reality games currently available for Meta Quest.

Best Mixed Reality Games for Meta Quest

The Smurfs - Flower Defense Meta Quest

The Smurfs – Flower Defense

To say that The Smurfs – Flower Defense came as a charming surprise is a bit of an understatement. Developed by Kalank and published by Microids, The Smurfs as a franchise isn’t as big as it once was. And its video game history doesn’t have the best track record. However, if you’re a fan of tower defence games and don’t mind the cutesy graphics, The Smurfs – Flower Defense is a great title.

Like a lot of MR games on Quest, The Smurfs – Flower Defense can be played in both VR and MR modes. The story revolves around saving a bunch of Smurfs who have been kidnapped by the evil sorcerer Gargamel. To do this, you have to stop waves of attacking insects, deploy defensive towers and use remaining Smurfs to man them. Additionally, special Smurfs like Smurfette give you special abilities, like your own gun to shoot enemies. All of which makes for a delightful experience for all ages.

Wall Town Wonders

If you love building a living, breathing metropolis and enjoy games such as Little Cities, take a look at Wall Town Wonders. Developed by Cyborn – the team behind the gorgeous HubrisWall Town Wonders is a cosy sandbox where you get to build your own miniature town on your living room/bedroom/outside house wall.

It’s a sandbox where you can create a unique town, unlocking new and unusual buildings full of colourful characters. There are lots of fun quests and mini-games to complete, as you explore the endless customisation options. It’s all very casual and relaxed, and even supports hand tracking to heighten that sense of presence and interaction.

Table Troopers

One of the more recent entries on Quest’s library of mixed reality games is Table Troopers. Essentially Worms but with an immersive twist, Table Troopers is a turn-based combat game. Taking command of a bunch of quirky characters (chickens, crash test dummies, a walking hotdog), the idea is to cause all-out carnage and kill the other team by any means necessary.

With physics-based weapons and fully destructible environments, throw grenades and launch airstrikes on your unfortunate opponents. There’s a short three-chapter solo campaign, but really, it’s all about the multiplayer action. There’s nothing quite like unleashing a barrage of death on a mate’s hapless trooper.

Turning the physical MR action up a notch is Guardian of Realms. This comes from Sinn Studio, which is best known for its medieval combat game Swordsman. Bringing its swordfighting knowledge literally into your living room, Guardian of Realms is a pure fighting sandbox. Enemies come into your room, and you have to remove them with bloody force.

You can smack them in the face if you so wish, but it’s far better to use the supplied sword and shield to kill them. As such, the combat is very physical, so make sure there’s not too much to trip over. Utilise mods to change up the gameplay or try the Survival Mode, where you have to protect a crystal at all costs. Lots of fun to be had here.

Lego Bricktales

One of the oldest titles on this list is ClockStone STUDIO’s Lego Bricktales. Combining puzzle mechanics with the art of Lego building, little dioramas come to life before your eyes. You can journey across five beautiful brick-themed biomes, which can be placed in the middle of your living room to examine and explore.

Players have access to a brick-by-brick building mechanic to solve various puzzles. Each location offers a variety of construction spots with challenges. It might be a couple of years old, but Lego Bricktales still holds up well.

Track Craft

Mixing sandbox experimentation, racing, and mixed reality is Track Craft. Offering single-player and multiplayer modes, to start with, there’s a campaign with 104 pre-built tracks across 5 different worlds, offering various challenges, cars, and skins to unlock.

This is great fun by itself. However, Track Craft really opens up when you explore its ‘crafting’ possibilities. You’ve got full flexibility to create any sort of mixed reality track you can think of. Weave it to your living space, then share your creation online to race with friends. Or check out the latest community creations. There are plenty of reasons to love this game, and endless hours of gameplay to be had.

MiRacle Pool screenshot

MiRacle Pool

Not all of us have space for a full-sized pool table – or simply don’t want one taking up all that space. So what you need is a virtual one, in particular, MiRacle Pool. Get ready for one of the best pool simulators on Quest, and probably the best in MR.

With realistic ball physics and easy cue stick handling MiRacle Pool is quick to pick up. There are a bunch of modes, including: Single Player, Multiplayer, Private Matches, Mini Games, Daily Challenges and Practice Mode, plus unlockable extras like new table designs, balls, and cues.

But fair warning, don’t get so engrossed that you try and lean on the table!

And there you have it. That wraps up our picks of the mixed reality games for Meta Quest. What are your thoughts? Which ones did we miss? Let us know in the comments below!
