As we say goodbye to 2023 there’s still plenty of time to welcome new VR games this December. While there was a deluge in November, this month there’s half the amount. Currently, there are only 10 (now 17) titles confirmed so far, for PlayStation VR 2, Meta Quest 3 and 2, and PCVR headsets. Even so, there are still some heavy hitters looking to entertain VR fans this winter.
PlayStation VR 2’s release schedule for December was looking a bit thin. But recently Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Want 2 was announced and now the highly anticipated Vertigo 2 has confirmed its winter launch date. The surprise this week has been the confirmation that Vertigo 2 will be getting a physical retail release next year.
Vertigo 2 has been very popular with PCVR fans since its launch earlier this year. And while the PSVR 2 edition has been delayed, the Steam version is about to receive a major content update. Called the ‘Bottomless Update’, Zulubo Productions has said this will be the only one for Vertigo 2. Hence it’s packed with goodies fans have been waiting for.
PSVR 2 has a lot of good games on its release schedule for October. The likes of Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord and MADiSON VR are just some of the few still to arrive. Previously part of that list was the highly anticipated Vertigo 2 from indie developer Zach Tsiakalis-Brown. However, that’s no longer the case with Vertigo 2 for PSVR 2 now delayed.
With the nights getting longer and the weather getting cooler, the onset of Autumn means an abundance of new videogames. So far October 2023 isn’t going to disappoint VR fans with over 20 titles confirmed so far, for PlayStation VR 2, Quest 2 and 3, and PCVR headsets. So let’s dive in and see all the new VR games set to arrive this October.
