It has been almost a year since indie developer Zach Tsiakalis-Brown launched Vertigo 2 on Steam. It’s been such a success that a PSVR 2 port was announced last summer. However, the release has seen a couple of delays to ensure an optimal experience. Now, the end is in sight, as publisher Perp Games has announced that Vertigo 2 will launch for PSVR 2 in less than a week.
Vertigo 2 is an action-packed sci-fi adventure. Packed full of guns, fantastical locations and an abundance of enemies, it’s considered one of the best PCVR games of 2023. Patient PSVR 2 owners can now wishlist the game ahead of its official release on Monday, 15th January 2023. This will be for the digital edition of the game. Previously, Perp announced that a physical edition would arrive on 9th February 2024 which still seems to be the case.

Vertigo 2 Launch on PSVR 2
A narrative-driven single-player adventure, you awake deep underground in the reaches of Quantum Reactor VII. Your goal is simply to get home but standing in your way are “deadly android security forces whose job is to purge the reactor of all life.” Additionally, there’s a myriad of “bizarre alien flora and fauna leaking from other universes” to contend with.
Not to worry though, as you’ll have an arsenal of 14 weapons to deal with hostiles. State of the art with each offering its own reload mechanics, from classics like the Annihilator Shotgun or the railgun to pistols and the Altershock Revolver. Plus there’s hybrid locomotion mixing up both smooth movement and teleportation to suit most players.
The PSVR 2 edition will also feature all of Vertigo 2’s latest updates including the Bottomless Update. This added three key components, mutators, alternate key characters and a level editor.
