PSVR 2 has a lot of good games on its release schedule for October. The likes of Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord and MADiSON VR are just some of the few still to arrive. Previously part of that list was the highly anticipated Vertigo 2 from indie developer Zach Tsiakalis-Brown. However, that’s no longer the case with Vertigo 2 for PSVR 2 now delayed.
Tsiakalis-Brown announced the delay via his X account (formerly Twitter). “Sorry for the short notice here, but the Vertigo 2 PSVR2 release has been delayed. I’ll share the new release date as soon as I know!” Originally due for release on 24th October, no details have been given as to why Vertigo 2 has been delayed.

Vertigo 2
Being published by Perp Games, Vertigo 2 was a big hit for the developer when it launched earlier this year on Steam. Considering the amount of expectation and hype for the PSVR 2 edition, fans probably aren’t too bothered about a delay, so long as it’s not too long.
So far this year, big-name releases like Firewall Ultra, Crossfire: Sierra Squad and others have been mired by a sloppy launch. Vertigo 2 may be a single-player adventure but PSVR 2 owners deserve a game that’s great from day one. Rather than day 30 or 60. So whatever the reasons are for the delay, hopefully, they’ll ensure a smooth launch when it does arrive.
The original Vertigo arrived way back in 2016 for PCVR headsets, being well received by players. Vertigo 2 carries on the same storyline, where you find yourself in the deepest reaches of Quantum Reactor VII still trying to get home. Even more expansive the the first title, the sequel introduces bizarre new alien flora and fauna and deadly android security forces to deal with. You’ll be armed to the teeth with new weaponry, of course, to complete the 10+ hour, 18-chapter campaign.
