Sony launched PlayStation VR 2 (PSVR 2) in February 2023, a whole seven years after the original. And what a headset it turned out to be. Far simpler to set up with only one cable to the PS5, the PSVR 2 also boasted a range of advanced features – some that don’t appear on any other device. It has been a bumper December for PSVR 2 owners with the likes of Vertigo 2 and Arizona Sunshine 2 arriving. Adding to that list in a very un-festive way is Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2. As we say goodbye to 2023 there’s still plenty of time to welcome new VR games this December. While there was a deluge in November, this month there’s half the amount. Currently, there are only 10 (now 17) titles confirmed so far, for PlayStation VR 2, Meta Quest 3 and 2, and PCVR headsets. Even so, there are still some heavy hitters looking to entertain VR fans this winter.

Steel Wool Studios has chosen to do just that with the PSVR 2-exclusive release of Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2. It is due next month, and here’s why you should be excited for Help Wanted 2.

So here are XR Source’s most anticipated VR Games still to come in 2023.
Did you watch Sony Interactive Entertainment’s (SIE) PlayStation Showcase? What did you think? Because from where we were sitting as VR fans, it felt a bit underwhelming. PSVR 2 was never going to be the main event at the PlayStation Showcase but even so, what we hoped to see, ne what we needed to see fell well short of expectations. Were they too high? Maybe. However, with the amount of PSVR 2 games coming soon suggested a stronger lineup.
