So you’ve just got you’re hands on the very latest virtual reality technology, Sony’s PlayStation VR 2, congratulations! Now you need to get your PSVR 2 set up and calibrated ready for some awesome VR gaming. If you’re not 100 percent on how to do this, then read our handy guide below.
Thankfully, setting up the PSVR 2 isn’t too much of a chore, as there’s one single cable to your PlayStation 5. Unlike its predecessor – as this PSVR 2 unboxing clearly demonstrates – which had a multitude of cables, power leads and an external box. Needless to say, PSVR 2 is about as plug-and-play as you can get.
But you’ll still need to create your virtual play area and just the eye tracking when required. Assuming you’ve got everything out of the box, let’s begin.

- PSVR 2 comes with a USB Type-C cable attached. Connect the cable to the USB-C port on the front of your console.
