Normally, when a developer or publisher chooses a launch date they settle on one day. Why, because it makes it simple, and generally doesn’t annoy gamers. Sometimes, games like MADiSON VR will split digital and physical editions. Nox Noctis has gone for a far more staggered approach for the launch of OVRDARK: a Do Not Open story. Starting with a couple of dates in March.

OVRDARK is a virtual reality sequel to horror DO NOT OPEN. Originally due for release on 9th February, the date came and went with no sign of the game. Nox Noctis has now confirmed that OVRDARK: a Do Not Open story is now due to arrive for PSVR 2 on 7th March. But only for Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Bahrain, India, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey and United Arab Emirates.

The US edition of OVRDARK: a Do Not Open story will not arrive until 16th March 2024. As for the Steam version, well, that will see a global launch after March. No date has yet been specified.

Additionally, a physical edition of OVRDARK will also be launched later for the European region with its new publisher and distributor, Tesura Games.
