This week is filled with new VR games, all arriving on Thursday. Stride: Fates, Demeo Battles, Barbaria and X8 are all on the list and so is Ziggy’s Cosmic Adventures. Developed by Stardust Collective, you can pre-order Ziggy’s Cosmic Adventures action-packed ship management gameplay now on Meta Quest with a discount.
If you’ve been looking forward to Ziggy’s Cosmic Adventures then pre-ordering on the Quest Store will get you a 10 percent discount. A PCVR edition is also available via Steam which players can wishlist. However, at launch, the Steam edition will offer a 10 percent discount until 16th November 2023.
A Ziggy Adventure Awaits!
Starting life as a GameJam project, Ziggy’s Cosmic Adventures has evolved into a VR experience all about managing your spaceship. You’re a bounty hunter who just so happens to be in possession of a very powerful, but cute, alien called Ziggy.
You acquired Ziggy from a rather evil empire that wants the little green fella back. To ensure this doesn’t happen you need to manage all the various elements of your craft. From your cockpit, you’ll need to flick switches and pull levers to power your shields, balance temperature and pressure, fix hull breaches and much more. But with the empire on your heels, you’ll also engage in space combat, shooting enemy combatants into oblivion.
Furthermore, you’ll also make friends with Ziggy. Not only is your cosmic mate a great fuel source but you’ll be able to play with them, feed them, and pet them on your journey. There are a total of 13 different levels to complete, with a different route to be taken each time.
