For those looking to upgrade their VR gaming, there are a range of peripherals available. From haptic vests to gunstocks and omnidirectional treadmills, the sky’s the limit. StrikerVR, the company behind the Mavrik haptic gaming blaster, has just announced a new integration and bundle with Vertigo Games’ Arizona Sunshine franchise.

StrikerVR Mavrik Arizona Sunshine

The Zombie Bundle

StrikerVR has teamed up with Vertigo Games to offer the ultimate undead shooting package this holiday season. The studio has added native Mavrik integration into both Arizona Sunshine Remake and Arizona Sunshine 2 for Meta Quest. That means you’ll be able to wander the post-apocalyptic Arizona wasteland, popping zombie heads with a gun that simulates actual recoil.

The Arizona Sunshine series has been a huge hit for Vertigo Games since the original released in 2016. The studio went on to release the sequel in 2023 and, in the following year, brought out the remake. Both offer immersive solo campaigns as well as co-op gameplay modes, with Arizona Sunshine 2 delivering a brand-new, next-gen mutilation and gore system.

Pre-order Details

The StrikerVR Mavrik x Arizona Sunshine bundle is available to pre-order now for £464.39 GBP. Deliveries take between 7-10 business games, with the deal also including a copy of Sigtrap’s Under Cover.

Depending on when you order, Arizona Sunshine will take a little longer to arrive. StrikerVR will be sending the Arizona Sunshine game keys with Mavrik compatibility on 25th December 2025 via email. So keep an eye on those inboxes.

And if you weren’t aware, you’ll need a Meta Quest 3 or 3S.

What is the StrikerVR Mavrik?

StrikerVR originally began making haptic guns for the location-based entertainment industry. If you go to venues like Sandbox VR or Zero Latency, that’s where you’ll find the Mavrik Pro.

The company then decided to enter the consumer market with the Mavrik, offering a more slimline version of its pro peripheral. With a haptic system featuring an actuator in each grip and a large engine for immersive recoil, the Mavrik offers approximately nine hours of gameplay on a continuous charge – more than enough to cover Meta Quest’s two-hour battery duration.

Furthermore, once you have your Mavrik, it’s compatible with a range of games, including Pistol Whip, Vendetta Forever, Tower Tag, Lasertag and TritonXR.
