XRSource has been excitedly following Wales Interactive’s Maid of Sker VR since its announcement last October. If you’ve been reading our coverage, you’ll know that’s been tough. Mostly because the studio has been radio silent since then. However, that changed this past week with the team confirming the Maid of Sker launch date for Quest, PSVR 2 and PCVR.

It was a pleasant surprise in October 2025 when Wales Interactive revealed a VR port of Maid of Sker. Initially slated to arrive in late November for Meta Quest and SteamVR, that date quickly came and went. The Steam listing subsequently noted a “March 2026” launch window, and now has a date. But as for Meta Quest, the survival horror is notably absent.

As XRSource always expects, prior to Halloween, a lot of developers like to announce/launch their horror games. And Wales Interactive was no different, revealing a VR version of its popular title, Maid of Sker. Initially slated for a multiplatform launch this November, currently, Maid of Sker VR has been delayed until the new year for SteamVR.

Wales Interactive, the folks behind VR games Don’t Knock Twice and Time Carnage, have announced their next immersive project. And it’s a port of one of their previous title, Maid of Sker. A survival horror, Maid of Sker VR, its unique brand of terror this November.
