If you love VR but want physical copies of games then PSVR 2 is your only option. Not every game gets a solid copy you can hold but thanks to Perp Games many do. The publisher recently revealed that the sci-fi adventure Hubris is getting a physical edition for PSVR 2 next month.
Developed by Cyborn, Hubris hit PSVR 2 and Meta Quest last summer, receiving positive player feedback. The hallmark of the game is its stunning visuals. Whether you’re staring across vast alien landscapes or peering into the swimmable clear blue waters. So if you’ve not bought a copy already – or even if you have – the special physical edition arrives on 16th February 2024 retailing for £29.99 GBP.
Even more Hubris
Like most of Perp Games’ physical editions, the Hubris release is purely for the core game. There are no fancy additional features or goodies thrown in. Unless you count the satisfaction of having the game on your shelf to look at.
Hubris is a single-player adventure where you play a recruit tasked with locating a high-profile agent. Sent to a mysterious alien world, Hubris is a physical gameplay experience involving running, jumping, climbing and swimming. There’s also plenty of action, with combat sequences dealing with deadly enemies interspersed with chances to craft and upgrade weaponry. The game also offers a selection of difficulty levels depending on the type of experience you’re after.
Hubris isn’t the only upcoming VR title from Perp Games. Vertigo 2, MADiSON VR, Crossfire: Sierra Squad, Wanderer: The Fragments of Fate and more will also be getting a hard copy version. Some of these can be pre-ordered on the Perp Games Store now.
