After a debut on Meta Quest earlier this summer, Hide The Corpse has finally seen release on PSVR 2. The chaotic and quirky body-hiding sandbox game has you, well, hiding dead bodies. Don’t worry though; it’s all in good taste. Sort of.

Hide the Corpse Gameplay
Hide the Corpse has a relatively simple premise that opens up a world of comedic consequences. You’ll find yourself placed in an incriminating scenario and must avoid the wrongful wrath of the law by hiding the evidence. Gus, the corpse, must be removed from sight using hiding spots across physics-based levels. You have four minutes to scan the room for a suitable hiding place, clean up any remaining evidence and then face the cops.
The game will see you taking Gus on a field trip to several distinct locations, each with new challenges to overcome. Create a body-hiding masterpiece at the Museum, or use some elbow grease to conceal him in the Garage. You’ll earn points by eliminating evidence, and then spend them on new outfits. Rather be seen dead than in something unfashionable? Gus feels the same. A dance floor-ready Disco outfit; Zombie clothes and makeup; a Superhero suit. Gus needs the threads that suit the moment.
“Hide the Corpse aims to put a lighthearted spin on an otherwise gruesome scenario,’’ said Eneko Barandiaran, Publishing Manager, HyperVR Games. “We hope the PlayStation VR community can get a laugh out of Gus’ post-mortem adventure!”
Post-Launch Updates
Hide the Corpse has come from publisher HyperVR Games and developer Realcast, and has seen numerous updates since its Meta Quest debut. At present, it’s believed that all such additions are included in the PSVR 2 release of Hide the Corpse, including the recent Modifiers update.
With this update, you can complicate each level further with fun Modifiers such as Flubber, which makes Gus and other objects bounce unpredictably around the room. There’s likely to be more post-launch updates coming for Hide the Corpse, so keep an eye on the digital storefronts – or right here at XRSource, of course! – for future additions.

Hide the Corpse PSVR 2 Release
The release of Hide the Corpse on PSVR 2 comes with the same price tag as its Meta Quest counterpart, $14.99 USD. HyperVR Games has also confirmed that a SteamVR version is in the works, though no details on a release date have yet been provided.
