Not going anywhere during the August holidays? You’ll want a new VR game to pass those long summer days then! While the selection isn’t exactly extensive, here are all the new VR games due to arrive in August 2025.
XR Source doesn’t always expect to see big IP franchises launch in August, so it’s nice to see World War Z VR coming to Meta Quest. The action-packed zombie shooter won’t feature co-op like its flatscreen cousin, but even so, it’s going to be filled with the ravenous undead.
Another game we’re looking forward to is Iron Guard: Salvation. A sequel to the popular 2022 original, this is a tower defence game brimming with potential. It doesn’t have a confirmed date during August, so hopefully it won’t slip into the following month.
