One of the biggest VR games to arrive at the tail end of 2024 was Skydance’s BEHEMOTH. Developed by Skydance Games for Meta Quest, PSVR 2 and PCVR headsets, the studio has just released its biggest DLC yet. Called The Rites of Wrath update, it’s available now for all Skydance’s BEHEMOTH owners.

The Rites of Wrath update
A free DLC update, The Rites of Wrath adds two new game modes – The Arena and The Behemoth Trials. The Arena was previously available in beta form, offering players the chance to fight hordes of enemies. Now the fully fledged feature offers three new maps with both daytime and nighttime modes, 15 Golden Weapons, each with a special power, as well as upgrades to the previous beta content.
The Behemoth Trials are brand new, giving players the option to go head-to-head with the Behemoth’s outside of the campaign. Fight Shacklehide, Nightscraper, Dreddstagg and the final boss in any order you like. You don’t even need to have unlocked them in the campaign.
Skydance Games notes that The Behemoth Trials can take from 15 to 90 minutes to complete. Whilst The Arena takes an estimated 40 to 60 minutes to defeat.

Skydance’s BEHEMOTH adventure
Previously known for the The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners VR franchise, Skydance’s Behemoth is a very different experience. Initially unveiled in 2022, the game puts you in the shoes of a diseased wanderer lost in the frigid Forsaken Lands. Exploring a plague-ravaged wasteland, you’ll encounter inhabitants driven mad by the rot that has befallen this world. At the heart of this nightmare are colossal giants called Behemoths, each of which must be slain at all costs.
Currently, Skydance’s BEHEMOTH is on sale through June on all supported platforms. On the Horizon Store for Meta Quest, the game has a 50% saving for the whole month. PSVR 2 owners can find the game on the PlayStation Store for 50% off between Wednesday, 4th June to Wednesday, 18th June. Lastly, on Steam, there’s a 50% discount from Thursday, 26th June to Tuesday, 10th July.
