Skydance’s Behemoth Launch Date Slams Down in November

The latter half of 2024 is going to be littered with some exciting VR titles for all platforms. One of which is Skydance’s Behemoth, with an official launch date now confirmed for November.

Behemoth Launch Date

The creators of The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners games, Skydance Games originally revealed its new VR adventure back in 2022. Simply called Behemoth at the time, it was initially slated for a late 2023 launch. The studio then decided to push the launch back a year and tweak the name to Skydance’s Behemoth.

Now we have a confirmed multiplatform launch date. You’ll be able to fight through the Forsaken Lands on Thursday, 14th November 2024, compatible with Meta Quest 2 and 3, PSVR 2, and PC VR for $39.99 USD.

Pre-orders are now available on the Meta Quest store and via the official website for Skydance’s Behemoth. PlayStation and Steam pre-orders open on 28th August. All pre-orders will receive the Ancient Hero’s Sword, Thornwood Bow, Behemoth Bone Axe, and Bronze Grappling Hook on launch day.

Skydance’s Behemoth at Gamescom

Ahead of the launch in November, Skydance’s Behemoth will be playable at Gamescom next week. Europe’s biggest gaming event held in Cologne, Germany, attendees will be able to head to Hall 10, Aisle A, Booth 042 to grab some hands-on gameplay.

Furthermore, fans can grab a limited-edition graphic novel written by New York Times-bestselling author and game designer Matt Forbeck. It’ll feature illustrations by renowned comic artist Daniele Serra and provide some backstory to the game.
