This summer has been too bad for VR games, with August’s selection delivering some treats. Now we begin the real highlight of the year, where developers go all guns blazing with a crescendo of titles over the next few months. So what’s in store for VR fans? Take a look at all the new VR games due to arrive in September 2025.

September starts off really strong for PSVR 2 and PCVR owners with the arrival of Aces of Thunder. From the same team behind the hugely popular War Thunder, this spinoff has been hotly anticipated for a while. If multiplayer warfare isn’t your thing and solo adventures are, then keep an eye out for Of Lies and Rain. Coming to all major VR headsets, Castello Inc.’s sci-fi action game has a dystopian narrative, cool visuals and lots of guns.

Another game XRSource is looking forward to playing is Unloop. From the folks behind Into the Radius, Unloop is a time-looping puzzler where you have to create copies of yourself to complete challenges. It’s a mechanic we’ve seen before in VR, so can they pull off something unique?
