Fool me once…
You’ll have to excuse us if we take this news with some trepidation. MADiSON VR has had several release dates over the past few months. The first was for a Halloween launch in 2023, followed by February and then March. It’s perfectly fine for developers to push a launch back if there are further improvements to be made. Or if they discover critical bugs that need addressing.
But MADiSON VR has suffered from continual last-minute decisions which has taken the lustre off each date that’s come and gone. On the flip side, we’re now expecting a highly polished experience placing even more pressure on the launch.
What is MADiSON VR?
MADiSON VR is a psychological horror in which you play as Luca, who wakes up locked in a dark room, their hands soaked in blood. You discover that a demon that has forced him to continue a gory ritual started decades ago, making him commit abominable acts. The game then tasks you with finishing this sinister ceremony.
Wielding an instant camera that bridges Luca’s world and nightmarish alternate reality, you’ll trigger spine-chilling events and solve all manner of puzzles along the way.
