The Best VR Deals (May 2023)

It’s the start of May, and you know what that means! Hopefully less April showers and more sunshine! Oh, and lots of new VR deals to spend that hard-earned cash on. Who needs sunshine anyway? So take a look at all the best VR deals XR Source has found.

Hardware

Meta Quest 2

There’s been plenty of talk regarding how Quest 3 will be accessible but for the time being, that is still a way off. For now, the Meta Quest 2 is still going strong with new titles like Propagation: Paradise Hotel on the way.

Not much movement on deals at the moment for Quest 2. Meta.com still has the free GOLF+ and Space Pirate Trainer DX bundle available but that’ll end on 3rd June 2023. This same deal can also be found on Amazon UK’s website, as well as Currys, BestBuy and other retailers.

Currently, the best deal XR Source could find is via Amazon US. The 128GB model is $393.99 USD. Or you can still get the refurbished Quest 2 128GB for $349.99 or the refurbished Quest 2 256GB for $399.99.

Meta Quest Pro

As for Meta’s flagship headset, the Quest Pro is still £999.99 GBP ($999.00)

PlayStation VR 2

No discounts just yet. The best deal is still the PSVR 2 Horizon Call of the Mountain Bundle for £569.99.

Access to PSVR 2’s will be getting easier, however. Previously only available through the direct.playstation.com website, a recent tweet announced that local retails will soon have stock. That could open up te possibility of new deals.

HTC VIVE XR Elite

No current deals for the VIVE XR Elite now that the previous free game promotion has ended.

PICO 4

Currently, only available in Europe and specific Asian territories, the PICO 4 is a direct competitor to Meta’s Quest 2. It’s even challenging its rival by securing exclusives like Yupitergrad 2 for PICO headsets.

The PICO 4 128GB model is currently £339 – instead of £379 – while the PICO 4 256GB model is down from £449 to £405.99. You even get Peaky Blinders: The King’s Ransom, Les Mills Bodycombat, Golf 5 eClub and Wander for free until 31st July.
