All the New VR Games Launching in September 2026

The summer might be drawing to its eventual close, but that’s no bad thing when it comes to videogames. While the weather may be cooling, the release roster is hotting up quite nicely indeed. September is traditionally when we see the first raft of major titles appear in the buildup towards Christmas. So here are all the new VR games arriving in September 2026 that we know about so far.

September starts off rather nicely for Meta Quest owners in the form of Transformers Beyond Reality Redux, bringing the PSVR action classic to a new generation of players. Also arriving on the 3rd is Knights of Fiona, a multiplayer JRPG from the same team behind Ruinsmagus.

Further into the month, the 10th September delivers a couple of hotly anticipated games. The first is The Lightkeepers, a co-operative supernatural adventure where you can explore mist-covered islands and discover their treasures. The other is the action-packed, first-person shooter Gunman Contracts – Stand Alone, a spin-off of a super popular Half-Life: Alyx mod.

Towards the end of the month, we have the exciting arrival of Into the Radius 2 for PSVR 2, ensuring the survival adventure is available for most major VR platforms.
