We’ve seen several VR games remastered of late. Zero Caliber 2 Remastered is coming to SteamVR, whilst RUSH: Apex Edition is now available for PSVR 2. Joining that trend is Spheroom’s Requisition VR, revamping the zombie game with new content.
Requisition VR: Hunt & Extract
Now called Requisition VR: Hunt & Extract, Spheroom has rebuilt the game into a PvPvE extraction shooter. The original dropped you into a co-op survival game show, where you and your compatriots would have to defend yourselves against hordes of zombies. The zombies and the unique tape-based weapon crafting still remain, combining handles and 1–2 attachments to create one-of-a-kind, game-changing weapons, all within a new extraction mode.
During the extraction mode, up to four players will face new bosses whilst grabbing valuable loot to upgrade their base and enhance their gear. The revamped game also features a reworked economy, fresh weapons, and cross-play between the SteamVR and Meta Quest Editions.

Launch Details
Requisition VR: Hunt & Extract will be gracing both Meta Quest and SteamVR headsets on 12th November 2025.
Spheroom has also confirmed that: “Owners of Requisition VR can receive a free Steam key for Requisition VR: Hunt & Extract through the bot on the game’s official Discord server within 30 days from the release.”
