Back in January, VitruviusVR released action-adventure Arken Age for PSVR 2 and SteamVR. Becoming an instant fan favourite thanks to its rich visual design and immersive gameplay, it’s one of the best VR games to arrive in 2025. Now, the studio has announced that Arken Age is coming to Meta Quest 3 later this year.

What is Arken Age?
Arken Age is a big, bold single-player adventure in a similar vein to games like Asgard’s Wrath 2. Players find themselves on a terraformed fantasy world called the Bio-Chasm, created by the Grand Arborist. Taking on the role of a biological alien creation, players can freely explore the densely filled environments during the 10+ hour campaign.
Freedom is at the heart of Arken Age’s gameplay, with three fully customisable weapons utilising 32 unique mods found throughout the world. Players can shoot, dismember, and crush enemies in full physics combat, freely jump, climb, and swim to traverse the environment, and craft useful items.
Blake Stone, CEO and lead designer at VitruviusVR, also confirmed to UploadVR that the port has: “100%” content parity with the Steam and PS VR2 editions. He also adds that the game maintains a native 72 FPS “to ensure physics/combat feel equally as impactful on Quest.”

Launch Details
Currently available for PSVR 2 and PCVR headsets on Steam, Arken Age is scheduled to hit Meta Quest 3 & 3S in November. A specific date has yet to be confirmed. That does mean it adds to the growing list of games that don’t support the ageing Meta Quest 2.
