Currently in Early Access on Steam is Into the Radius 2, the sequel to the popular 2020 original. A VR survival shooter from CM Games, the studio has just released its biggest content update yet. Titled Ghost Town – not to be confused with Fireproof Games’ Ghost Town – the update introduces a new location and more to Into the Radius 2.

Into the Radius 2 Ghost Town Update
That new location is, of course, the titular ‘Ghost Town’. A massive new city-themed location called the Pechorsk Outskirts. Here, players will find a sprawling new map with swamps, ruined buildings, and distortion zones. It’s also filled with aggressive mimics, deadly anomalies, and a new terrifying airborne entity.
And there’s more. Helping players survive these new threats is a fully customizable selection of chest rigs, armour vests, and backpacks. The old system has seen a complete overhaul, so the players can either use pre-configured chest rigs and armour vests or reconfigure them as they like. Furthermore, CM Games has introduced several new guns and attachments: G36 rifle, SVD sniper rifle, and Fort-17 pistol. The G36 has a unique set of attachments, including a muzzle brake, rail, handle with scope, short rail, and a Reflex Sight.
Lastly, enhancing the overall feel of the game, the atmosphere and tone has been improved across all locations. This includes updated audio ambiences and enemy voice lines. Player should also notice the overall palette, sky, fog, new trees, and more have been enhanced during the day/night cycle.
