Since launch last year – under the name Anarchitects – DigiGods has seen continual updates and support from developer Squido Studio. This month however, the studio has promised a huge swathe of new content for April, coming in two parts. The first April DigiGods update, available now, brings new maps, mechs and variable terrain for the multiplayer build-’em-up game.
What is DigiGods?
DigiGods is a community-driven experience, offering a creative physics based sandbox environment. Players can build experiences where you can shoot, parkour or simulate any type of gameplay you desire. Think along the same lines as Dreams, and you won’t be a million miles away.
“We are committed to building a game that grows with and for its community, with plans to introduce incentives for players and content creators alike,” offers Squido Studio in a recent press release, before detailing the contents of the latest DigiGods update.
DigiGods Update
The latest DigiGods update, known as Warzone: Ashes of Steel, offers up a massive two waves of content throughout April. Powerful mech suits, deployable turrets, and the promise of a steady stream of content, Warzone: Ashes of Steel sets the stage for an entire month of high-intensity action.
Phase One: The Salvation Begins – Available Now
The action begins with the release of the Salvation Bundle, priced at $19.99 USD. This battle-ready package includes:
- Support Mech Suit – Deploys a healing zone that mends teammates and yourself, perfect for team-based tactics.
- Missile Turret Variant – High-impact explosives to control the battlefield.
- 5,000 K-OS Premium Currency – Fuel your arsenal for the fights ahead.
Also included in Phase One:
- 3 New Warzone Maps – Brand-new battlegrounds to test your skills and tactics.
- Gunplay Refinements – Enhanced control and feel of your arsenal.
- New Building Blocks – Create the perfect battlefield with varying terrain, atmosphere, and obstacles to deter your enemies!
Phase Two
As stated above, the new DigiGods update features a premium bundle. However, it’s not yet known if the second wave of content will also be paid, or free. Given the details offered thus far – seen below – we would expect the new maps to be free and the bundle to be premium. Don’t hold us to that, though.
Phase Two: Annihilation Incoming
Set to launch this week, three new maps and the Annihilation Bundle will hit the frontlines.
Stay tuned for more information coming early next week!
The Future of DigiGods
According to Squido Studio, Warzone: Ashes of Steel is just the beginning. Throughout April, DigiGods will receive brand-new content every week. This will include simulation updates, weapon refinements, décor items, and building blocks.
