Arcade Paradise VR Release Date Announced

Wired Productions has announced an official release date for Arcade Paradise VR. We already knew that Nosebleed Interactive’s tongue-in-cheek simulation was coming soon, but we didn’t know how soon.

About Arcade Paradise

Arcade Paradise is an adventure and light-management sim game where you transform the decrepit King Wash laundromat into a thriving business. The game transports you back to 1993. A whimsical journey of nostalgia to a laundromat. You’ll embark on an empowering journey from rags to riches, with a little toilet cleaning along the way.

Set in the rundown town of Grindstone, you play as Ashley. A rebel teenager going against your father’s wishes to continue the family business. You’ll be hands-on managing the day-to-day tasks of a laundromat, from manually picking up gum, doing the laundry, and scrubbing a toilet perfectly clean, to throwing out the trash. But then, a world of new possibilities opens to you. Take your hard-earned money from completing these tasks to unlock your real objective: creating a backroom arcade full of the latest money-spinning cabinets!

How the Game has Changed for VR

While Arcade Paradise has been available for consoles since 2022, the VR edition has been given a fresh coat of paint. Nosebleed Interactive already revealed that Arcade Paradise VR will feature six exclusive cabinets. But still, there’s far more going into this VR edition.

A total of 12 band new VR arcade cabinets will feature alongside the 27, 90’s inspired, traditional controller games from the original release. Each with their own unique high score chart and competitive online leaderboards.

What’s more, Arcade Paradise VR isn’t just VR. The game will also feature MR functionality, allowing gamers to bring the 90s arcade scene into their own living room!
