XR Games’ Zombieland: Headshot Fever was a great shooter for Meta Quest 2 back in 2021. Previously revealed as a PlayStation VR 2 launch title, now the developer has released the launch trailer for Zombieland: Headshot Fever Reloaded.
As if the name didn’t give it away already, Zombieland: Headshot Fever Reloaded is about shooting lots of zombies, in the head, quickly. Multiple combo headshots trigger a slow-mo mode so you can unleash fury on the undead.
This new version of the arcade experience differs from the original in plenty of areas. XR Games has rebuilt the VR game to make use of PlayStation 5’s extra horsepower. You’ve got a brand new cel-shaded art style, new character models; new animations and new lighting. Then there are the new ragdoll physics, new music, and a completely re-designed progression system.
Additionally, you can also enjoy plenty of PSVR 2 hardware perks.
PSVR 2 Exclusive Features
- Adaptive triggers: making every weapon feel different
- Controller haptics: unique haptic feedback every time you fire a weapon
- Headset rumble: feel the horde approaching in the headset
- Eye-tracking: supports eye-tracking for foveated rendering
On top of all that, there’s a new story level, three new remix levels, new Gun Range challenges, new guns, new perks and new gun skins. So even if you played the original, the PSVR 2 edition sounds like it’s worth a look.
Zombieland: Headshot Fever Reloaded will be released for PSVR 2 on 22nd February for $24.99/£19.99.
