Use Your Meta Quest to Save Humanity Today

One of the most interesting puzzle games to arrive in 2023 was Humanity. The work of tha Ltd. and Enhance Games the puzzler-supported PSVR 2 and PCVR headsets on Steam. Today it’s the turn of Meta Quest players to try and save Humanity from itself.

In this third-person puzzle-action game, you become a dog – a glowing Shiba Inu dog in fact. Your job is to guide massive, marching crowds of people to a safe endpoint, without any of them wandering off the edge of the level and to their doom. If you’ve played games like Lemmings you’ll know the basics. All you have to do is tell the bimbling swarms of humans to jump, turn, push, float, shoot, and climb their way to salvation. Simple.

However, the 90 stages in the campaign will test your wits and your skills along the way. Alongside the more normal puzzle stages, there are boss levels and action stages to circumvent.

As the glowing dog, you have to carefully place these action markers to ensure the humans go where you need them to. Sometimes there’s one goal, sometimes there can be multiple exits. Each is more devious and strategic than the last.

Each level also features Goldie, a giant golden figure you can optionally collect. Goldie helps unlock new features like human cosmetics and fast forward. It’s also essential when progressing the narrative, so picking them up along the way is also advised.

Humanity is available today for Meta Quest 2, Quest 3 and Quest Pro. If you’re quick enough the 20% pre-order discount might still be available on the Quest Store.
