Resolution Games is developing a unique VR experience based on Dungeons & Dragons. The hugely popular role-playing IP is owned by Wizards of the Coast, and this collaboration will see the creators of Demeo bring the franchise to VR for the first time.
Following its 2021 release, Resolution Games’ Demeo garnered attention throughout the table top RPG (TTRPG) world. The game presents an approachable blend of dungeon exploration and turn-based tactics with friends. The game was reportedly inspired by a passion for Dungeons & Dragons within the team at Resolution Games.

Dungeons & Dragons has seen numerous videogame releases over the years. From the critically acclaimed Baldur’s Gate and Neverwinter Nights, to the scrolling beat-’em-up Chronicles of Mystara. Planescape Torment to idle game Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms. The franchise is no stranger to digital adaptation.
The game that will result from this collaboration is slated for a future release. No further details are available at this time. Both Demeo and the second game in the franchise, Demeo Battles, are playable on PC and in VR. Demeo is also available on the PlayStation 5 and PSVR2. Whether or not this new game will follow the same release pattern is not yet known.
