Fast Travel Games released the excellent Vampire: The Masquerade – Justice for Meta Quest and PSVR 2 a couple of months ago. Previously confirmed that a SteamVR version was also in the works, the studio has now released a date. Vampire: The Masquerade – Justice will arrive on Steam on 6th February 2024.
The upcoming Steam edition will reportedly have “updated visuals and performance” states Fast Travel Games. Possibly making it the definitive version.
Furthermore, if you’re on PSVR 2 and you’ve not tried the game yet a demo is available. The PlayStation Store notes that if you subscribe to PlayStation Plus Premium you’ll be able to play a full hour of the game until 31st March 2024.
A Vampire in Venice
Set amongst the dark and dusty streets of Venice, Italy, Vampire: The Masquerade – Justice is a stealth-action experience. You step into the shoes of a vampire of the Banu Haqim clan. You’re in town to look for clues as to why your sire was murdered and a relic stolen. Stealth is the key, remaining unseen from normal society whilst hunting down the culprits.
Utilising a mixture of superhuman and magical abilities alongside more normal tools, you’re given a fair amount of free rein to tackle challenges. Leap from building to building, then pounce on unsuspecting enemies. Drain victim’s blood to rejuvenate your health then activate Cloak of Shadows to slip[ past guards.
As we said in our Vampire: The Masquerade – Justice review: “If you’re looking for an atmospheric single-player adventure then you can’t go too far wrong with Vampire: The Masquerade – Justice. Just like Wraith: The Oblivion – Afterlife, Fast Travel Games has brought the World of Darkness to life once again, delivering a rich experience with minimal flaws.”
