Today’s the day folks! Where zombie carnage brings some blood-drenched cheer to VR gamers this festive season. Vertigo Games launches the highly-anticipated Arizona Sunshine 2 today for Meta Quest headsets, PSVR 2 and PCVR headsets on Steam.
The original Arizona Sunshine arrived in 2016 so it has been a while in between installments. Arizona Sunshine 2 is set to be even bigger and gorier than the original, whilst still remaining true to its roots. Supporting both single-player and co-op multiplayer modes, Arizona Sunshine 2 is still a story-driven adventure into the shambling heart of Arizona. Once again stepping into the shoes of a dark-humoured protagonist, this time around you’ll be accompanied by Buddy, your four-legged friend.
Buddy isn’t there just to play fetch with or for emotional support, he’s more dangerous than that. Use the pooch to attack a wayward crawler or use him to retrieve useful items.
Arizona Sunshine 2 is out today
Most zombie games have a fairly high level of gore. However, Vertigo Games has been keen to point out its new “next-gen mutilation and gore system.” This will allow you to get creative with your zombie slaying, as well as garnishing every possible location with a deep hue of the red stuff.
Want to dismember the undead and then use their limbs as weapons? Sure, go ahead. Or how about exploding heads? Get up close with a shotgun or simply put a live grenade in that biter’s mouth, the choice is yours. You’ll have access to an arsenal of ranged and melee weapons, alongside anything else you might find.
Clear your schedule as Arizona Sunshine 2 is out now. It supports Meta Quest 3, Quest 2 and Quest Pro, PlayStation VR 2 (PSVR 2) and PC VR headsets.
