The hugely popular TV show Peaky Blinders made its way to virtual reality (VR) headsets back in March. Since then, Maze Theory has been hard at work providing players with a continual stream of new content. The latest has arrived today, and it’s the biggest yet, demonstrating that just like the Shelby’s, Peaky Blinders VR means business.
Maze Theory updated its Peaky Blinders VR roadmap last month, keeping to its word with the latest content rollout. As we found in our Peaky Blinders: The King’s Ransom review, the game lacked replayability at launch, which is now being rectified. New shooting galleries, combat challenges and weapons have been added already.

Peaky Blinders VR Means Business
In this new update, the team has included two new story-driven combat missions. Fight alongside Arthur Shelby fending off the Winter’s Children in Defend the Garrison. Then fight your way through the streets of Limehouse with Arthur to defend Lily Wong’s territory in Battle for Pennyfields.
After that, take on a brand-new Weapon Challenge. Take down enemy grunts as fast as possible using the quick-fire Lewis gun. You’ll also want to pop into the new ‘Player Hub’ where you can discover and wear new item skins for gloves, lighters and the pistol. All of this is supported by a bunch of new achievements as well.
Remember, you’ll need to complete the main campaign before unlocking all of this content.
“We’re mid-way through our planned content roadmap for Peaky Blinders: The King’s Ransom, and we’ve already delivered over an hours’ worth of additional free new gameplay since launch,” said Tim Jones, Game Director at Maze Theory. “Today’s update is our most exciting and weighty so far, with yet more substantial new DLC still to come later in the year.”
Peaky Blinders: The King’s Ransom is available for Meta Quest 2 and PICO 4 priced at £24.99 GBP / €29.99 USD / $29.99 USD.
