It is always great to see when an indie game on App Lab finally makes its way to the official Meta Quest Store. The last one XR Source knows of is No More Rainbows back in April. The next to do so is Tennis Esports by VR Motion Learning, launching today.
Originally arriving on App Lab and SideQuest in July 2022, Tennis Esports is a tennis simulator designed to give players the best virtual experience yet. Test your skills on a range of court surfaces against AI opponents before heading online. Make sure you have plenty of space around you as tennis is a physical game to play indoors.
Serving an ace
Whether you’re a beginner or an avid tennis fan, Tennis Esports aims to support all skill levels. For those just starting out there’s the training mode. Practice those serves and volleys as much as you like, perfecting every forehand and backhand swing.
Or go head-to-head against other players around the world in either Custom or Instant matches. Play in a giant stadium on a clay court or with Wimbledon coming up, try a grass court and see the difference.
Furthermore, if you fancy a break from traditional tennis matches Tennis Esports has other options. Focus more on your fitness with the running mode against AI opponents. Or challenge yourself with MirrorPlay. The gameplay modes don’t stop there either, don’t miss HitEmAll, VR Motion Learning’s famous arcade tennis target game.
You can set up your own player profile customising your virtual tennis star before tennis glory awaits. VR Motion Learning runs regular competitions where you can win prizes, so it is worth honing those tennis skills.
Tennis Esports is out today (1st June 2023) for Meta Quest 2 and Quest Pro.
