It was only a couple of months ago that Le Dino Labo arrived for Meta Quest, and now there’s another dino-themed puzzler en route. Owl Studio Games has announced Dino Quest VR, a puzzle adventure based on, you guessed it, dinosaurs, is ready to hit Quest later this month.

What is Dino Quest VR?

In Dino Quest VR you seem to be part palaeontologist and part Indiana Jones. The game mixes puzzle elements like piecing together dinosaur bones with environmental puzzles and actual dinosaur encounters.

Currently, there seems to be no narrative involved, just that you: “Travel across mysterious islands filled with ancient ruins, hidden caves, dangerous jungles, and realistic dinosaur encounters.”

Gameplay

From what’s been shown, the gameplay looks fairly interactive. Using tools to carefully uncover dinosaur bones, creating new pathways with planks and even feeding dinos to distract them.

There’s definitely a mixture of slower puzzle elements and action-packed scenarios where you try to survive a Velociraptor or a T-Rex attack.

Launch Details

Dino Quest VR is scheduled to arrive for Meta Quest headsets (including Quest 2) on 26th June 2026. It’ll retail for $14.99 USD/£11.99 GBP and is available to pre-order now.

While you wait, dinosaur fans can also check out Jurassic World Aftermath, offering stealth mechanics and lots of tense moments hiding from these ferocious creatures.
