All the New VR Games Launching in January 2026

New VR Games Jan 2026

Posted on: 03 Jan 2026

With Christmas and New Year behind us, it’s time to look ahead at what the grim month of January can bring. December was filled with awesome VR games, and as you may suspect, that means this month is a little lacking. But that’s not to say it’s empty, as clever studios decided to avoid the festive chaos and launch in a quieter period. Here are all the new VR games due to arrive in January 2026.

No big IPs like Deadpool VR here, but Pirates VR: Jolly Roger is certainly the standout VR game of the month at present. Take to the high seas and actually become a pirate in VR, it certainly looks the part! Another exciting-looking game (or should that be frightening?) is Dread Meridian, a survival horror that’s slated for January but doesn’t have a specific date.

On the slightly weirder end of the gaming spectrum is Salmon Man. An intense platformer, you have to fight your way upriver using only a single paddle for movement. Arriving the same day is Orcs Must Die: By The Blade, an action-packed tower defence game about defeating waves of orcs.
