As a first-person action-adventure in VR, Pirates VR: Jolly Roger that lets you live out your ultimate pirate fantasy. You’ll discover that the Caribbean tropics hide more than just shipwrecks as you pursue the fabled treasure of Davy Jones. Along the way you’ll be fighting cursed pirates and undead skeletons, solving puzzles and uncovering mysteries. Plus there’s a fair share of traps set for those greedy for fortune.
The immersive experience in Pirates VR: Jolly Roger is built around mechanics that require your coordination. You’ll need to light up dark corners with your lantern, reload your flintlock pistol, and hold on tight to the zipline. Puzzles require physical interaction, and dodging traps that might force you to duck, dive, or jump aside.
All the while you’ll be accompanied by your loyal parrot companion. After all, what kind of pirate would you be without a sarcastic bird?
Incuvo Back Again
Incuvo, the studio behind Green Hell VR and the recently released TRACKED: Shoot to Survive, has partnered Split Light Studio to co-develop the Meta Quest edition of Pirates VR: Jolly Roger.

After working on immersive adventures, such as the recently released TRACKED: Shoot to Survive, it’s even more exciting to channel that experience into a whole new story about exploration, mystery, and the search for treasure – just like the pirate tales we loved as kids,” said Andrzej Wychowaniec, CEO of Incuvo.
Pirates VR: Jolly Roger Launch Date
The Meta Quest edition of Pirates VR: Jolly Roger follows the title’s original release on SteamVR and PlayStation VR. This new version of the game will be compatible with Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S only, so Meta Quest 2 players are out of luck.
The game will launch on Meta Quest on 29th January, 2026. It will be priced at $14.99 USD, and there’s currently a pre-order discount of 13% available, bringing that price down to $12.99.
