If you love sports like golf or fishing, then VR has you well catered for. Surfing fans, however, not so much. Thankfully, True Axis is about to rectify that issue with True Surf, coming to Meta Quest headsets this month.

What is True Surf?

You might be shocked to hear that True Surf is a surfing simulator. Originally starting life as a mobile game, True Axis has been busy porting the game into VR. No easy feat considering the complexities of the sport.

Offering a real-world physics engine promising some of the most realistic wave mechanics in VR, in True Surf, you’ll be able to carve waves like the best of them. Taking you to real-life surf spots from around the world, like Waikiki in Hawaii, Puerto Escondido in Mexico and Bells Beach in Australia, monitor live swells on the map before heading out. While this info is powered by real-time surf forecasting data from Surfline, you can also turn the challenge up a notch by boosting the swells.

Furthermore, surf with dolphins and turtles, unlock new apparel and boards from leading brands, and record your greatest waves thanks to eight cameras.
