A few months back, Mighty Coconut celebrated five years of Walkabout Mini Golf by revealing lots of stats about the game and some upcoming DLC. Based on Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, the DLC will be available next week.

A Wonderland Adventure
If you’re a Walkabout Mini Golf fan, you’ll know that each DLC sticks to a tried and tested Method. It’ll feature a total of 36 holes, 18 easy and 18 hard, alongside 18 collectable lost balls to find and a commemorative putter.
Inspired by John Tenniel’s iconic illustrations, expect to see some weird and wonderful courses to play through. From the Cheshire Cat’s forest to the Queen of Hearts’ castle, it’ll be a Wonderland adventure like never before! At present, Mighty Coconut hasn’t released any screenshots or footage from the DLC, so some surprises might be in store closer to the launch date.
Walkabout Mini Golf: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is set to arrive for all supported platforms, including Meta Quest and PSVR 2, on 4th December 2024.
If you’ve not yet bought the game, don’t forget the Horizon Store is offering a 40% Black Friday discount using code BFCM25 until 2nd December.
DLC Galore
Walkabout Mini Golf: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland continues a long line of DLC additions for the golfing game. Some have been original ideas like Ice Lair and El Dorado, but many have been inspired by existing franchises.
From Jim Henson’s Labyrinth, to Myst, Wallace & Gromit, and Journey to the Centre of the Earth, content is abundant. You can even get avatar packs based on Fraggle Rock and Exploding Kittens if you so wish.
The very latest DLC is Forgotten Fairyland, taking players to the crumbling remains of Fairyland Amusement Park. This once great destination has fallen into ruin, with some creepy course to complete. Extras include three rideable amusement park rides that still seem to be functioning alongside four new spooky avatar cosmetics.
But There’s More
You might be surprised to know that there’s more to do in Walkabout Mini Golf than simply playing…golf.
As mentioned, there are theme park rides in the Forgotten Fairyland DLC, but what if you don’t buy that particular one? If you happen to explore the Welcome Island or find yourself in the Venice or Upside Town sections, then you’ll be able to play a game of chess. Thus adding tabletop gaming into the mix.
In the past months, Might Coconut has introduced elements like leaf blowers, bug nets and even slingshots for players to pass the time (as if mini golf wasn’t enough!).
