RapidEyeMovers and Wolf & Wood have launched a demo for the forthcoming C-Smash VRS. Stated to be ‘the first playable demo’, we should expected more to come down the line.
C-Smash VRS is a full-body experience that takes players to the end of space and time – what VR was always meant to be – bringing together the very best of racket sports and timeless action-puzzle gameplay. Players will dash and duck from side-to-side, performing intense shots and trick smashes.
You can either play alone, or forge a cosmic connection with a friend. C-Smash VRS will offer a variety of online versus and co-op modes. And you can now get your first taste with the C-Smash VRS demo.

Players can now get hands-on C-Smash VRS and get a glimpse of what’s to come from the full game. The demo includes a tutorial and a snapshot of the Training mode. It also includes the Versus mode, so you can play online with another player.
As previously reported by XR Source, the full game will include original dynamic tracks by DJ Ken Ishii (Rez Infinite) and synth master Danalogue (front man of The Comet is Coming and Soccer 96) who bring a pulse to the game’s striking environments – as well as the players’ bodies. According to Wolf & Wood, C-Smash VRS promises to deliver a ‘new form’ of synaesthesia.
Wolf & Wood and RapidEyeMovers are collaborating on another VR title: The Last Worker. The game is in development for PSVR2, Meta Quest 2 and PC VR, in addition to non-VR versions. You can become The Last Worker for yourself in just a few days!
Pre-orders for C-Smash VRS are now open, with a pre-release discount currently available. The game is set for release on PC and PSVR2 on 23rd June, 2023. Are you pre-ordering? Let us know in the comments below!
