Pickle Pro Gameplay

In Pickle Pro, you’ll play 1 vs. 1 matches against machine-learning-trained bots, or challenge friends through SharePlay. Multiplayer is available both locally with other Vision Pro users or remotely over FaceTime. Spectators can also join in, watching matches unfold in real time.

Pickle Pro is designed to highlight the latest advancements in visionOS. Thanks to world tracking and Physically Based Rendering (PBR), virtual rackets and balls feel convincingly integrated into players’ real-world environments. AI-powered bots, trained on real player data, offer a challenging and engaging experience for solo play. And whether in the same room or connecting over FaceTime, players can rally with friends anywhere in the world.

“We wanted to create a sports game that truly harnesses what’s unique about Apple Vision Pro’,” said Tommy Palm, CEO of Resolution Games. “Pickle Pro combines the accessibility of pickleball with precise controls and support for cutting-edge features like SharePlay — enabling authentic pickleball experiences with players in the same room wearing Apple Vision Pro or even remotely using the all-new Persona.”

Apple Vision Pro M5

The Apple Vision Pro headset recently received its first revision. A new found emphasis on gaming saw the reveal of the Apple Vision Pro M5 edition littered with a number of gaming advancements and new titles. This aspect of the device was notably downplayed from the reveal of the original Apple Vision Pro back in 2023.

Pickle Pro isn’t the only title to take advantage of the new power afforded by the Apple Vision Pro M5, with several other games already released. It is however, compatible with both editions of the device.

PSVR 2 Sense Controller Compatibility

As promised at WWDC 2025, Pickle Pro is leveraging spatial game controller support introduced in visionOS 26. While Pickle Pro works with hands input, Resolution Games strongly recommends using spatial game controllers. The PSVR2 Sense controllers are now compatible with Apple Vision Pro, and Resolution Games suggests that they will offer ‘the most authentic experience including tactile feedback as you swing and hit the ball’.

The game takes advantage of spatial game controllers for precise, intuitive movements, allowing you to serve, volley, and rally just like on a real court.

Pickle Pro is available today on the App Store, exclusively for Apple Vision Pro, priced at $7.99 USD. Resolution Games has a very good track record in XR game development – and in sports, as noted above – so hopes are high that the game will deliver a truly groundbreaking sporting experience on Apple Vision Pro.
