Cortopia Studios and Devolver Digital released the bloody GORN 2 for Meta Quest and SteamVR headsets earlier this year. As many studios like to do, they’ve got into the Halloween spirit with a free update called Fight of the Living Dead, adding new enemies, weapons and more.
A Halloween Update
Available now, for free, the Fight of the Living Dead adds a spooky twist to everyone’s favourite comedy brawler. Take on hordes of undead gladiators who are nothing but bone in a modified skeleton arena. New weapons include the Scythe, Crossbow, and the Resurrection Spire. The latter of which is the most powerful inclusion, but also the most difficult to acquire.
The Resurrection Staff is a skull-crowned relic that lets you raise fallen warriors so you can command them as skeletal soldiers. To gain this new power, you must defeat a powerful new boss.
Additionally, the update adds several bug fixes and gameplay improvements.

Updates Galore
The Fight of the Living Dead update is the fourth since GORN 2 launched. Just over a month ago players were treated to a big weapons update, adding two new legendary weapons, the Sword and Shield, alongside lots of QoL features including a new stat board. And then there was The Mod Update for Sergey allowing for modding on weapons, enemies, levels and creatures.
