It was only a couple of weeks ago that Schell Games unveiled its latest VR game, Project Freefall. A skydiving party game for up to eight players, Project Freefall is set to hit Meta Quest headsets and flatscreen PC in less than two weeks.

Free-To-Play Social Game

A completely free-to-play game with in-app purchases providing revenue, Project Freefall is set to be an adrenaline-fueled experience. Players start in a plane, but no one has a parachute. A single parachute is made available, with players having to scramble as quickly as possible to obtain it and then hold onto it.

All the other players can use an assortment of tools to claim the parachute for themselves. While this is happening, everyone’s plummeting to the ground trying to avoid all manner of obstacles.

Project Freefall is the kind of chaotic fun we love to create at Schell Games,” said Adam Whalen, Project Director of Project Freefall. “We designed it to be a high-stakes, easy-to-learn game where mastering aerial manoeuvres and underhanded tactics makes all the difference. We can’t wait for players to experience the fast-paced, competitive mayhem when they jump in for the first time.”

Furthermore, to help kick the launch off, Schell Games will be online at 3pm ET and 9pm ET, 13th – 20th Oct to join in the fun!
