Pine Studio’s Escape Simulator has been doing the rounds for a few years now, but only came to VR in 2024. Having released several themed add-ons in that time, this week has seen the latest to arrive in the form of Escape Simulator: Spy DLC.

What’s next?

We expect Escape Simulator may see more DLC additions like the previously released Mayan, Magic and Wild West add-ons. But far more immediate for escape room fans will be the release of Escape Simulator 2 on 27th October, 2025. Unfortunately, there’s no indication just yet of VR support, so VR fans will have to stick with the original for now.
