Indie game developer and publisher Odania GmbH have clearly set their eyes on VR. After launching Space Drop earlier this year, the studio is back with the worldwide release of Odania Sports Arena for PSVR 2 and Meta Quest. Previously released on PC in 2022, this VR-exclusive game offers five different games, from boxing to space golf.
About Odania Sports Arena
Odania Sports Arena is a sci-fi themed sports game. Using the immersive nature of VR, a variety of different athletic experiences blend into one high-energy, immersive experience. You’ll be taking part in VR sports in space with five different mini-games to play: whether you’re in zero-gravity boxing, swinging a club in space golf, or playing space ball, each mode brings its own challenges.
According to the developer, the game prioritises accessibility with simple controls and gameplay mechanics. The intention is to allow anyone to jump right in to the fun. However, while it’s easy-to-learn it will require your sharp reflexes, timing, and clever strategy to win and rise to the top of the leaderboard.
Cash Prize, You Say?
To celebrate the revamped version and launch on PSVR 2 and Meta Quest, a cash-prize competition has been launched. You simply need to partake in the Odania Sports Arena VR games for a chance to win!
The online competition allows you to play any version of the game to prove your boxing and laser sword skills. The competition ends on 26th September, 2025, and the first-prize winner will receive a cash prize of €100 EUR, with runners up receiving €50 and €20, respectively. Odania Sports Arena PSVR 2 & Meta Quest Launch
As stated above, the game originally debuted on PC back in 2022. However, now with PSVR 2 and Meta Quest, Odania are looking to rejuvenate their audiences. The newly released editions of the game are priced at £7.99 GBP / €12.99.
