Indie game developer and publisher Odania GmbH has announced the global release of fast-paced VR tunnel-runner, Space Drop, now available on PSVR 2. Previously released on SteamVR and on Meta Quest headsets, Space Drop challenges you to discover if you have the reflexes to dominate the intergalactic leaderboard.

What is Space Drop?
Space Drop is a fast-paced VR runner game in which you are thrust into the high-stakes world of competitive Space Jumping. You must fly through warp tunnels at light speed, and only the most skilled will survive.
In the year 2142, New Earth is buzzing with excitement as the prestigious Universe Space Jumper Championship begins. In the game, players start off as rookie competitors and must face off against the galaxy’s most skilled Space Jumpers. With high stakes and the weight of the universe on your shoulders, you’re are tasked with leaping from spaceships into warp tunnels at breakneck speeds. You must dodge obstacles along the way to prove yourself, and become a symbol of hope for humanity’s future.
Space Drop includes a number power-ups critical to your survival. You’ll get more shields to recover after hitting obstacles; grab an invincibility pickup for those critical last-second moments; snatch some energy for more ammunition; and gravitate to the nearest points pickup for more score. Learning how to use these power-ups effectively is essential to dominate the leaderboards.
What’s more, Space Drop offers a lot of flexibility. The game’s custom level generator allows you to tweak a variety of different settings to create your own unique warp tunnels filled with exciting challenges to overcome. Whether you want to create easier levels to slow down the pace or test your limits with even harder ones, the choice is entirely yours to make.
Spend Money to Win Money
To celebrate the PSVR 2 launch, Odania has kicked off a cash-prize tournament. The lucky winner will receive a cash prize of €100 EUR. Second and third place runners-up will win €50 and €20, respectively. Prove your skills in the Arcturus level and submit a screenshot no later than July 25th, 2025. Are you the champion space jumper?

Space Drop Launch
As stated above, Space Drop is now available on SteamVR for PC VR, Meta Horizon Store for Meta Quest, and of course the PlayStation Store for PSVR 2, on PlayStation 5. The game is priced at £7.99 GBP, or your local currency equivalent.
