Polyarc has announced that Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss is set to launch on Meta Quest and PC VR late in 2025. Following successful Early Access and Beta periods, the game is set to launch as a full premium experience. This will include new features such as additional maps and Champions, player progression, leaderboards, and new gameplay modes.

What is Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss?
In Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss, players choose their combination of three Champions from a roster of some of the most heroic, notorious, and fascinating creatures from the world of Moss. Each Champion has their own unique abilities that complement the others on their squad.
You’ll fight against or with friends in private games, or match with similarly skilled players in the community. Every game presents its own unique opportunities and challenges. The ever-changing squad combinations and randomised maps each with their own board objectives create real replayability opportunities.
“When we tried VR more than 10 years ago, we imagined the sense of immersion and connection you could have with friends and characters would bring an added level of excitement and joy to the types of games we loved. And with a team passionate for competitive games, Glassbreakers was the first prototype we pulled together. I mean, who wouldn’t want to bring to life their childhood action figure toys in a real-time battle set in an immersive fantasy world?!” said Chris Bourassa, lead designer, Polyarc.
New Content
Since the Beta testing phase, Polyarc has been testing new systems and putting the finishing touches on the Beta content. With the launch of Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss this Holiday 2025, players can expect:
- 12 Champions: Each with their own unique abilities, giving players 220 possible team combinations once they’ve unlocked all of the champions through their progression.
- 4 maps: Transporting players to different locations in the Moss universe. Each with their own look and feel and board objective, bringing an added level of unique gameplay.
- “Buds Mode” companion play to party up with a friend for 2v1, 2v2 or 2vAI gameplay. This is in addition to the standard match options (1v1 and 1vAI).
- A progression system that allows players to play matches at their own pace and be rewarded for their mastery.
- Cosmetics, cosmetics, and more cosmetics, empowering players to truly make their look and their team’s their own.
- An enhanced community-first approach to player inclusion that leverages Discord and other popular channels.

Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss Launch Plans
Alongside the above new content, Polyarc also plans to double down on community-first initiatives in time for the Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss launch. These include the continued support of monthly Town Halls, increased engagement with the Polyarc Creator and Glassbreakers Mentorship programs, and ongoing plans to grow the Glassbreakers community with active VR players. Those who join the Glassbreakers Discord will get a variety of new opportunities. These include participating in livestreams, receive exclusive items, game swag, special play events, and Discord badges and titles.
“We already have a strong and passionate community that’s been active since day one. They’ve been very supportive in hosting events and tournaments during the Beta and providing feedback that helped shape the game that’s launching this Holiday,” said Kristen Carlisle, social and community manager, Polyarc. “Our goal with Glassbreakers is to empower the community to be as involved with the game as they want to be and make sure they’re rewarded for their efforts.”
