What is Cinescape VR?
Cinescape VR is a single-player game blending adventure, puzzles, and immersive storytelling. With its unique concept of ‘cinemorphosis’ and environments inspired by iconic film sets, it offers a fresh experience for fans of cinema and VR escape games alike.
In the game, you play as the chosen heir of the Codex, a mysterious artifact safeguarding the legacy of Cinetech. To solve ingenious puzzles, you wield a rare power: cinemorphosis. This ability lets you transform objects, turning a film prop into a real object, and vice versa.
Cinescape VR Launch
Cinescape VR is slated for release on PCVR, PSVR 2 and Meta Quest 3/3S. There has been no mention of Meta Quest 2 compatibility. What’s more, there’s no specific release date at present. Simply a vague ‘at the end of 2025’.
However, what we do know is that the full release edition of the game will include three unique film studios for you to visit. Each will play a part of a storyline tied to the central mystery of the Codex. Furthermore, the game is built around hand tracking, for which it will be interesting to see how the game performs on PSVR 2 in particular.

Who are Super AC?
The SUPER AC team offered a single quote alongside the announcement of the game: “With Cinescape VR, we want to offer an immersive journey into the art of cinema, where every object tells a story, and every puzzle brings you closer to the founding mystery.”
According to the company blurb, SUPER AC is a collective of independent studios. The team appears to be going hard on VR. While Cinescape VR appears to be the debut title for the collective, another VR game, Sky Legends, is also set gearing up for launch in 2026.
