Developer PikPok has seen great success with its Rival Stars Horse Racing series on PC and mobile. Later this year the team are making the leap into immersive gaming with the release of Rival Stars Horse Racing: VR Edition.
Start your equestrian journey
The game is about fully emulating horse racing and the equestrian lifestyle. The Story Mode mode is set within an idyllic ranch taking on the prestigious role of stable master. As you progress you unlock new locations, breed new horses and eventually race them!
You’ll connect with the stable’s rosters across all stages of their lives through rewarding grooming, feeding, and bonding interactions. Then, once they’re ready, train them for competition, then take command as the jockey. You’ll then be able to develop those jockey skills in Multiplayer racing modes.
Horse Racing in VR
For this new edition, the gameplay mechanics have been built from the ground up for VR. Directly feed and groom the horses before stepping into the stirrups for the ultimate racing thrill.
“We’re very excited to reveal the next evolution of our Rival Stars Horse Racing franchise,” said Mario Wynands, CEO of PikPok in a statement. “It will allow players to get closer to their horses than ever before and feel the thrill of riding, racing, and bonding with them.”
RSHR VR Edition Launch Details
PikPok confirms that Rival Stars Horse Racing: VR Edition will arrive on Meta Quest 2, Quest 3 and Steam VR in Q4 2024. It’ll include English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, and Korean language support.
