Among Us VR Open Beta and Patch 4 Details

In addition, a new patch for the game is coming soon. The development team are actively looking for participants to join the ongoing open beta. They’re currently testing some highly-requested features, some inspired by the original Among Us game. These include lobby customisation options.

From preliminary testing, the Among Us VR team have revealed more than 9 billion customisation configurations coming to the game with this upcoming feature. These settings will allow a lobby host to adjust the pace, balance, and general rules of how a match plays out, including nearly all of the options from the original Among Us and some VR-exclusive options.

Players interested in participating in the open beta can head to the Among Us VR Discord server for more information.

Having debuted in November 2022, Among Us VR is now available for $9.99 USD on Meta Quest StoreRift, and Steam stores. The game has received a positive response. However, many players have cited some disappointment in the conversion lacking many features of the original, which hopefully this post-launch support will go some way towards remedying.

As it stands, Among Us VR is one of the most popular titles on the Meta Quest 2 in recent months. The game even made it into our list of the best Meta Quest 2 games of 2022.
