How many pressure washing simulators do you need? One more, apparently. Antibore has announced their upcoming Under Pressure, a VR exclusive game with more than a hint of inspiration from PowerWash Simulator.
According to Antibore, Under Pressure has been in development for over a year. The game is multiplayer orientated, and offers a variety of pressure washer driven gameplay. The game will initially launch in Steam Early Access, and is planned to be available for free during this peroid.
So what can you expect in the game? Well, cleaning. Mostly. There’s also gameplay modes involving soccer, volleyball and flying, however. We’re not expecting a totally accurate simulation, then.
Under Pressure Gameplay
Antibore state openly that Under Pressure is ‘multiplayer first’. Players can bring their friends to clean objects together, or soar through the skies using a variety of water guns with various power levels. Throw cleaning bombs to quickly clean huge items, or give bulldogs a refreshing scrub. As you progress through the game you’ll earn coins, which can be used to unlock new areas and new power washers. Or fancy hats. Never forget the importance of hats.
One of the most unique features of the game is the ability to import from Sketchfab and clean an almost unlimited variety of items.
“We really spent a lot of time experimenting with weird and out-there gameplay once we had the base mechanics nailed down,” says Antibore’s press release. “It started out as a cleaning experience in VR… but quickly escalated into this cool playground-ish game it is now. I am really looking forward to seeing players do all kinds of crazy stuff with it.”
As stated above, Under Pressure is planned to have its first release on Steam as a free Early Access title for PC VR. A release date will be announced at a later point.
