VR gamers can embark on an epic train ride across the lands of Ginkgo from today, as Gazzlers debuts on Meta Quest, PICO and for PC VR. The game is also set to come to the PSVR 2. The PlayStation 5 version will follow ‘soon after’, though no specific date has yet been announced.
A VR roguelite shooter, in Gazzlers players will build the ultimate weapons to shoot, block, and dodge their way through hordes of crazy enemies. A crazy train ride leads you to the Temple of the Machine God, if you can survive that long. With surprises around every corner – from unexpected encounters to weapon enhancements and satisfying skills – no two runs are the same.
Gazzlers boasts an extravagant comic book aesthetic and ‘wacky’ humour. The game is designed to be an adrenaline-fueled ride where players hurtle their locomotive through the desert expanse of Ginkgo.
Gazzlers for Meta Quest, PICO & PC VR
Along the way, you’ll face-off against a marauding army in a mad display of vehicular mayhem. Hordes of Gazzlers – insane creatures riding their mechanical contraptions – are dead set on stopping you in your tracks. Players must discover the strategies behind their crazy clunkers and find the best way to beat them.
The game plays as an on-rails arcade-style shooter. The game features roguelite-inspired encounter system. The objective is to get as far as you can, collecting scrap to upgrade your weapons and skills, then push further into the desert on a new run. Ultimately, reaching that fabled Temple of the Machine God. Given that the game is built exclusively for VR, players will have to physically aim, block and dodge along their journey.
The diesel-fueled chaos begins on today, 14th September, 2023, as Gazzlers launches on SteamVR, PICO and Meta Quest headsets. GAZZLERS is priced at $14.99 USD. The game benefits from a 13% launch discount on Steam and PICO VR, where it will be $12.99 for a limited time. As stated above, no specific release date has yet been given for the PSVR 2 version of the game.
