Carbon Studios’ The Wizards – Dark Times has been a magical single-player adventure since its release in 2020. Soon, however, the game will get its most significant update to date, enhancing the graphics, adding new content and more. Most importantly, The Wizards – Dark Times: Brotherhood update will add a co-op mode.
If you’re a fan of spell casting in VR then read on. The Brotherhood update will remaster the single-player experience, with a new region of Meliora to explore. Benefiting from enhanced graphics to make the gameplay look even more detailed, players will also enjoy new hand controls. That means they’ll be able to wield their powerful abilities with nothing but hand gestures.
Brothers in arms
Complementing these additions will be new and improved spells to cast against new opponents as you explore Meliora. Unleash bolts of lightning or protect yourself with magical shields with ease, making combat even more exciting! However, the enemy AI has also been upgraded to ensure your travels aren’t a simple walk in the park.
Carbon Studio also wants to ensure players are fully immersed in The Wizards – Dark Times with new environmental interactions. Climb boulders, ride a troll, or even have fun in a trolley cart chase.
What you want to do, of course, is experience all of this with some friends. As The Wizards – Dark Times: Brotherhood title highlights, the update will include a co-op supporting three players (you and two mates). The studio says that in co-op mode players can fight: “against a variety of enemies and explore whole new levels, objectives, and challenges.”
